Material
All our genuine leather belts are handcrafted. The front side of the belt is made of top grain Italian leather ("top grain leather" in English), which is one of the highest quality types of leather. This is half croup leather, where the leather is the strongest and has the best properties. The reverse side of the belt is made of the lower layer of leather.
High-quality genuine leather is usually provided with distinctive and detailed elements, such as pores and distinct traces of veins. It is thanks to certain imperfections on the leather and thanks to its specific smell that you can distinguish high-quality leather from low-quality leather.
Leather is naturally produced as a secondary (waste) product during meat processing. And therefore, like other responsible manufacturers of leather accessories, we do not agree to breeding animals just for the purpose of obtaining leather and fur.
Belt buckles are made of zinc alloy in various colors and finishes. The main element is zinc, and aluminum and other elements are contained in small amounts. The buckles also contain a small amount of nickel and may therefore not be suitable for people with nickel allergies or sensitivities.
Sustainability and ecology
In quality production, we also think about the ecological impact. There are also leather belts made from artificial materials such as polyurethane or PVC materials. These materials are often used as cheaper alternatives to genuine leather. Synthetic skin replacement is made from man-made materials that can be harmful to the environment and can have long-term adverse effects on human health. The leather from which our accessories are made is a natural material that can be processed and recycled without unnecessary impacts on the environment.
In our workshop, we make sure to use the leather whole, with only really minimal waste. That's why we make belt loops, as well as minimalist cases and wallets, from scraps (after cutting out the belts for the belts themselves).
Sustainability is also underlined by our high quality processing of our products - it is far better for nature and for your wallet to buy one really high-quality product than many cheap ones that fall apart in a while.

Handmade belt
Handmade genuine Italian cow leather belt. The belt is suitable for social and leisure wear. The length of the belt is 120 cm and the width is 3.5 cm . Lacquered edges and a tailored reverse ensure that clothing will not stain, whether you wear our leather belts with a suit or casual trousers. The belt has a decorative hem and has a higher central part with narrowed edges, the so-called bombed design. Skin meets all certificates for health safety. The belt can be easily shortened thanks to the snap mechanism of the buckle. The package includes a manual with instructions for shortening the belt as well as a leather loop in the color of the belt.
Zinc alloy buckles
Our belt buckles are made of zinc alloy in various colors and finishes. The main element is zinc, and aluminum and other elements are contained in small amounts. The buckles also contain a small amount of nickel and may therefore not be suitable for people with nickel allergies or sensitivities. You will receive the belt from us wrapped in a bag made of sanded canvas, which is stored in a cardboard box. For an additional fee, we will send you the belt wrapped in a wooden gift box.

Tailored to your ideas
You can buy our men's leather belts in a standard design, but you can also have the belt made according to your ideas. You can have a belt made in a longer version (we can also make belts of extra-standard sizes practically up to a length of over 180 cm) or you can order the embossing of a monogram, an inscription, or a company symbol or logo.

Is the automatic switch-on system reliable - won't it stop working after a while?
If you use high-quality components and in the case of high-quality workshop processing, you will not have any problems with the automatic switching system.
Even after more than 10,000 belts sold, we do not encounter any complaints, but for your peaceful sleep, you automatically have a 5-year warranty for each belt.
Which tape size should I choose?
As standard, men's belts are supplied in a length of 120 cm, and these belts are suitable for a waist circumference of up to 105 cm.
Women's belts are supplied in a standard length of 100 cm and are suitable for a waist circumference of up to 85 cm. You can easily shorten your belt at home according to the following instructions - instructions.
If you need a longer belt, you can order an extra length for men's and women's belts.
Are REDFIR straps made of genuine leather?
Yes, REDFIR straps are genuine leather. We use high-quality Italian beef leather in production.
In production, we exclusively use leather, which was created as a by-product, i.e. no animal dies because of our production.
Is it possible to make a custom belt?

What is the width of the tape?
Men's belts are 3.5 cm wide and women's belts are 3 cm wide. We cannot make you a belt in a different width, as our buckles would not fit on it.
